About the Role
Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely alongside the Deputy General Manager to ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care to residents
* Work closely with the clinical team to support medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews
* Support the development of care staff through training and coaching
* Contribute to the creation of a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for residents
About You
To be successful as a Senior Care Assistant, you will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for individuals who are warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering individualised care and support to our residents.
