Facility Manager
Assignment length: 12-month assignment (with potential to extend) and who will report to Director GPS.
Working days: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 17:30 pm
Location: Corby East Midlands.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Travel requirements: Sporadic travel to Belgium and The Netherlands possible.
What will the Facility Manager work on?
You will have the opportunity to participate in one of Nike's most ambitious projects, working in partnership with key Nike leaders and Nike COEs for FM services, developing a detailed and thorough understanding of the facility services operating model for our UK Distribution Centre with a specific focus on facility management, building maintenance, workplace services, rolling equipment, food offerings, sport, and meetings and events.
What is required of the Facility Manager:
1. Partnership & Collaboration: Working in close partnership with key Nike leaders and Nike COEs for FM services to develop a detailed and thorough understanding of the facility services operating model for our UK Distribution Centre.
2. Scope Definition & Cost Analysis: Analyzing and detailing the scope of works for quotation purposes, including expected operating costs for the different service packages. This requires a strong analytical approach and the ability to project future operational costs.
3. Tender Management: In collaboration with the Nike procurement team, running parallel tender programs from initial scoping through to contract signature. Experience with complex tender processes is essential.
4. Operating Model Development: Developing an initial operating model outlining how these facility services will connect and support other functional areas within the distribution centre when operational.
5. Pre-Operational Phase: Collaborating with the construction team to understand building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.
