You’ll help us make health happen by Owning and driving effective planning, coordination, and oversight of change delivery activity within the BG Transformation and Change Portfolio as it relates to a Portfolio Value Stream, projects, or programmes, employing lean-agile principles and best practice to relentlessly focus on business value, the flow of work, and quality outputs. Ensuring a sustained focus on dependency management, scheduling, and coordination, optimising the flow of technical and non-technical work through the Value Stream and across the wider portfolio, always ensuring that prioritization is aligned to stated business outcomes, and the ‘next most important thing’ is well defined, understood, and forms part a prioritized, well-developed Value Stream Backlog. Value Stream-level delivery planning, actively contributing to portfolio operations and ensuring completeness of information, consistency, and predictability, whilst contributing to key governance events, ensuring inputs are of the required quality and completeness. The Value Stream Lead will own and drive quarterly planning cycle, establishing the quarterly ‘rhythm’ underpinning delivery and ensuring outputs are of the requisite quality and completeness whilst equipping the Value Stream team for key quarterly governance events Establishing and maintaining strong, effective and trusted relationships with Sponsors, Governance committees and key stakeholders across the business, ensuring stakeholders are fully briefed on all aspects of delivery activity and meaningfully engaged with prioritisation and planning process Ensuring robust and measurable value cases exist with clearly identified and traceable business outcomes Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role Knowledge and expertise of managing aggregated change activity Expertise and experience in coordinating teams, resources, and delivery planning Be highly results oriented and focussed on adding value. Possess strong commercial acumen and broad business awareness. Must be able to demonstrate established stakeholder management skills across a wide range of stakeholders. Experience of working in a regulated and compliance led environment. Have a tenacious approach to problem solving, constantly striving for effective solutions. Must be proficient in risk, resource, and cost management. Experience of different business and IT delivery methodologies (eg, MSP, Prince2, Lean, Agile, SDLC).
