Everest People Solutions are recruiting for a Factory Manager for the PM shift at Salisbury Poultry. The successful candidate will lead operations, focusing on bringing the team together to drive results. The facility is currently processing 1.2 million birds per week, with a target to increase to 2 million birds per week over the next 12-18 months. The ideal candidate will have a background in the poultry or meat industry, with UK retail experience being essential.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Factory Manager
Lead and manage the team, focusing on yield, quality, waste reduction, and performance management.
Oversee direct reports, including the QA Manager, two Production Managers, Engineering Supervisor, and Hygiene Manager.
Support the integration of the new Wet and Dry Sides in factory operations.
Collaborate with staff to achieve operational targets and improve overall performance.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Engage in effective team leadership and communication to align with company goals.

Operational Scope
Manage an operational team of 300 staff.

Required Experience
Strong background in the poultry or meat industry.
Experience in UK retail operations is essential.
Familiarity with the DSI™ Waterjet Portioning System is desirable but not mandatory.

Knowledge of food safety standards and quality control.
