Role overview
We’re looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and eager to learn Design Graduate to join our team. This exciting entry level role will give you hands on experience in the design and build industry, allowing you to learn the ropes of furniture project coordination. Working alongside a creative and entrepreneurial team, you’ll support both our design and sales teams, helping to manage client projects from initial product selection to final delivery. You will gain an in depth understanding of the design, procurement, and project management process and build key skills that will serve as the foundation for a successful career in the design and build sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support: Assist in the selection and quotation of furniture products, supporting the sales team to ensure client needs are met.
2. Project Coordination: Once a project is handed over from the sales team, help manage the day to day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of projects from start to finish.
3. Client Liaison: Communicate with clients and support the sales team in finalising product specifications and managing additional client requests.
4. Order Management: Assist with sending purchase orders to suppliers and ensuring all order acknowledgments are correct.
5. Design Support: Work with the design team to ensure that all drawings and presentations are accurate and meet client expectations.
6. Financial Reporting: Help monitor and close financial reports, ensuring all project costs and invoices are in order.
7. Project Review & Completion: Assist in the completion and review of projects, ensuring that everything is delivered as per the client’s requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
* A keen interest in design and the built environment, with a willingness to learn about the office fit out and furniture industry.
* Organised, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Positive, can do attitude, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
* Recent graduate in a design speciality.
