HAYS are delighted to be working exclusively with Birmingham City Council to recruit a dynamic and highly organised interim Project Officer to support across two different divisions. This full-time role is externally grant-funded and offers a unique opportunity to support key projects within BCC. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across two key directorates within the Council, focusing on the development of ward packs, data insights, and fostering a cohesive working dynamic across the teams.
This role is paying between £250-£300 per day (inside IR35), and the successful candidate will be based on site once a week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analysis and mapping of systems and processes.
2. Performance management and data visualisation.
3. Understanding of policy structure.
4. Data presentation through Power BI and other platforms.
5. Contributing to key strategy and business planning documents by drafting content or providing quality checks.
6. Supporting the analysis and modelling of future organisational effectiveness decisions, targets, and KPIs, using internal and external benchmarks to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
