Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who possess extensive software and script development experience on Windows and Linux platforms, demonstrating skills in languages such as C/C++/C#, Shell scripts, Perl, Python, PHP, and SQL. A sound understanding of IP networks is essential, along with a good grasp of virtualization technologies and containerization. Candidates should understand how synthetic environments support system integration and how they interface with the system under test. Experience with systems engineering methodologies and knowledge of the full lifecycle is also important.
We also value the ability to grasp emergent technologies and their application to existing or future integration tools. You should be able to respond to rapidly changing circumstances and have an in-depth understanding of data recording and/or analysis tools, such as Wireshark, and their application throughout the integration lifecycle. Ideally, you should be Degree qualified or have equivalent experience in a technology, engineering, science, or IT-related discipline. Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer or with another relevant institution is desirable.
Your responsibilities are:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing tool setups, configurations, and scenario files, including Wireshark dissectors. You'll maintain the toolset that is deployed across integration labs, perform post-event analysis of recorded Combat System data, and organize and conduct toolset training. Additionally, you will carry out configuration management of the deployed toolset and develop future tools while maintaining the toolset roadmap.
