Senior Business Intelligence Manager Leeds, London or Dublin Your team Reporting into the Head of BI, the Senior Manager will lead our UKI Commercial Market Insights and Strategic Project BI team, which sits within the wider UKI Business Intelligence department. Directing a team of four specialist analysts, this role will be responsible for bringing together insight from multiple sources to build an informed narrative on key market trends in the UKI gambling market, and Flutter UKI’s performance within it. In addition to this the team continues to support key strategic projects across the division. You will work with the senior internal customers and key partners within our brands to agree the businesses priorities and workstreams, driving collaboration across the brands to ensure standards and processes are aligned and sophisticated across the division. What you’ll do Coordinate regular collaboration and sharing sessions with the Performance and Analytical teams, identifying consistent themes across insights, elevating our understand of our performance against that of the wider market. Be accountable for delivering complex internal and external data analysis across brands that enables us to better understand the UKI market, Flutter’s customers and products and enable stakeholders to realise our ambition to make every decision insight led. Formulate a coherent insightful narrative across the brand Analytics, Research, Finance and FP&A teams, to provide an accessible and clear understanding of our commercial performance, opportunities and risks. Work alongside the UKI Commercial Insights team and colleagues in Sky Bet and Gaming, Paddy Power and Betfair to ensure our insight, processes and methodologies are easily comparable through newly established communities of practice. For delivering priority insight on Strategic Projects, delivering highly complex analysis to LT level stakeholders on a regular basis. Build a culture within your team that champions development and learning, ensuring analysts within your area are empowered to advance our capabilities and be innovative in their approach to working practices, methodologies, outputs and tooling. How you’ll do it Strong technical experience in delivering analytics solutions (ideally using Looker and SQL) Skilled at condensing analysis into actionable insights to advise business decisions within the commercial teams and influence business performance Finding opportunities to drive improvements in our existing BI and analytical practices and driving positive change that advances our outputs. Experience leading a team through strong communication skills and be able to encourage, empathise and work for your team Be highly collaborative and influential, leading multi-functional working groups to deliver outcomes that require input from people outside of your direct remit. Ability to present expertly and effectively to very senior customers, including the UKI Leadership Team Thrive under pressure and understand the sometimes-urgent business needs with a measured and strategic approach You will be self-motivated, strategic problem solver who is able to take a lead and drive action and change where required, both within BI and across the business.
