Full time Retail Business Assistant

As part of our continuing growth, we are looking to recruit a Retail Business Assistant to join our head office team. As Retail Business Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our retail operations by providing guidance and support to our retail team members in all of our locations.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturday work as required)
In this role, you will be heavily involved within the retail area of all our stores, working directly for the Business Development Managers to help support and develop the business.
Responsibilities
1. Visit all locations on an ongoing basis
2. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
3. Monitor inventory levels to help identify opportunities for improvement and optimize operational efficiency
4. Train and coach various team members on product knowledge, IT equipment, sales techniques, and customer service to enhance their performance
5. Ensure high retail standards and excellent presentation of all locations is being maintained so that we exceed customer expectations and deliver an outstanding ‘first impression’ as customers and patients walk through the door of any of our locations.
Requirements
1. Full UK driving license and car is essential
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail environment
3. Ideally based in/around Edinburgh/West Lothian but applicants from across the central belt will be considered
4. Ability to motivate and inspire a team
5. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
9. Have a strong passion for retail standards and merchandising
Pay: from £13.00 per hour

1. £250 car allowance per month + fuel card

You will be given on-the-job training on all aspects of the role including use of IT systems and retail operations. We can also help support you to train and develop your role as part of the management team.
