We have an exciting role for an Outsourcing Senior based in our Farnham office, however hybrid working is available following initial induction. The role is managing the whole bookkeeping process, it is not just a traditional processing role. It involves a lot of client contact and managing the bookkeeping team with some hands on bookkeeping when necessary. Key responsibilities of the Outsourcing Senior role are: managing day to day bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients as well as reconciliations of the main control accounts, including month end reviews management accounts preparation reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements resolving queries preparing, reviewing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required visiting clients on an ad hoc basis to help resolve bookkeeping issues or take on projects with clients relating to bookkeeping About you The successful Outsourcing Senior will have the following skills and experience: minimum 2-3 years’ experience ideally within an accountancy practice AAT qualified management accounts experience is desirable but no essential extensive working use of Xero software (preferably Xero certified) or comprehensive experience with an alternative package ability to work both independently, direct liaison with clients, as well as part of a team in both a supporting and supervising capacity VAT experience and knowledge to be able to review VAT returns and correct where necessary experience of management accounts CIS awareness and reporting experience positive team player with a “can do” attitude accurate data entry skills with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook analytical and problem solving skills experience with CCH would be advantageous excellent written and verbal communication skills passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care Full benefits available for the Outsourcing Senior: pension scheme group life assurance x 4 salary opportunity to purchase additional holiday days car parking permit for nearby carpark social functions and events access to our employee benefits portal – cashback and vouchers on everyday purchases employee Assistance Programme employee Referral Bonus – we’re always looking for talented individuals to join our team About us TC Group is growing and changing at quite a pace We’re an ambitious group of people with the same aim – to create a consistent, high-quality experience for our clients.
