WHAT TO EXPECT
Maximise your full potential within our Design Visualisation and Animation department and be part of a highly creative and multi-faceted team that provides a high level of visual output including animations, stills, live, virtual presentation material, filming and motion graphics using industry-recognised software and processes. These creative outputs are used to support Design in achieving gateways, design forums, and various other high-level design reviews throughout the wider business.
You will be part of the function that has the responsibility for all aspects of digital visualisation. You will be dealing with many clients both internal and external including suppliers (utilising existing vendors and researching new processes and technologies), to create and deliver 3D stills and animated images.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Assist with data preparation of CAS models for use within Visualisation toolsets
* Working within a team, can work transparently and professionally, supporting all design disciplines, whilst maintaining a flexible, proactive approach
* Identify potential process or system improvements where applicable
* Assist, when requested with all virtual reviews, presentations, market research events, or product launches located within JLR Design
* Support the Lead with the attendance at relevant Design Studio programme meetings for current programme awareness and involvement
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Knowledge of Design processes in a Design studio environment
* Experience in the creation of Visual Stimulus (e.g. Computer-Generated stills/animation, photographs)
* Experience in using relevant Design software (Autodesk Maya/3DS Max, VRED, Vray, Unreal, Adobe Suite)
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* A passion for the automotive industry
