Job Title: Finance Administrator Salary: Up to £30,000 subject to experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: Green Lane Walsall / Hybrid Join our dynamic and forward-thinking Finance Team and unleash your potential with this exceptional opportunity. We are looking to add to our finance team and are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator to support our growing business. The Role The initial role will be around documenting all processes and procedures within the Finance Team to ensure that new members of the team can easily pick tasks quickly to ensure easy transition between team members. We can then look to optimise procedures to strengthen controls as a phase two. Plus other ad-hoc responsibilities commensurate with the role including processing of some activities listed below if required. Activities that need documenting include processing activities and accounting as below: Checking and coding of purchase invoices, expenses and company credit cards. Ensuring that they are submitted to Group Finance for processing within agreed timelines Supporting Management Accountants with the raising of Sales Invoices Raising Purchase Orders with regular maintenance of outstanding POs to ensure the smooth running of automatic imports into the ledger system Finance post and supplier statement reconciliation Customer Statement production and distribution Credit control Cashbook postings in Oracle Journal posting in Oracle Balance Sheet query investigation and resolution Preparation of month end management accounts for an Echo Business Unit, to include: Calculation of accruals and prepayments Journal posting in Oracle Preparation of the monthly P&L position Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations Analysis of actual results against budget and forecast, providing commentary on key variances. Preparation of financial performance by product, region and customer. Review of monthly results Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast for the Echo Business Unit. Ad hoc requests for information where required.
