Role Overview:
Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will ensure the day-to-day operations of the company are performed efficiently and effectively, acting as a role model and ambassador for the company while establishing industry standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the oversight of projects within the business, ensuring timely completion while staying within budget.
* Efficient and effective supply chain management by maintaining strong communication with workshop and purchasing foreman.
* Implementing goals within the business and establishing industry standards and requirements.
* Assisting with budget management, including monitoring expenses/revenues and adjusting spending as needed.
* Scheduling work to ensure effective operations.
* Enforcing quality control.
* Improving operational performance while procuring materials and resources.
* Coordinating all direct reports to ensure efficient manpower utilization and general performance management.
* Providing updates to the Senior Leadership team with performance updates for the entire department.
* Coordinating the efficient utilization of all plant and equipment with oversight of the weekly plan.
* Overseeing and coordinating recruitment/selection, departmental inductions, and continuous learning and development.
Person Specification:
* Able to be a positive role model and ambassador for the company and its values.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Clear understanding of costs when managing a fleet of vehicles.
* Able to keep up to date with industry trends.
