Here at GXO, we are looking for a Regional HSEQ Advisor to work with multiple sites in our Food & Drink business unit covering the South & Southwest of the UK. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety throughout your area. You will work with site management to ensure responsibilities of roles are communicated and understood. You will advise and support sites and colleagues accordingly through timely and effective communications. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £47,500.00 and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more What you'll do on a typical day: Promote the Road to Zero safety ethos and ensure timely and accurate completion of reports Provide advice and support to ensure compliance with both legislation and corporate policy Assist and review incident investigation, where necessary undertake secondary investigations where required Provide liaison with enforcing authorities as required and update internally Support site teams in audit preparation and support with new business implementations and management of change Review to understand culture, incident trends, follow up actions from audits & incidents Review and create risk assessments and safe systems of work for all tasks carried out across the whole operation, including both warehousing and transport Influence site management teams and other key stakeholders to ensure/develop best in class safety practices What you need to succeed at GXO: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (essential); Diploma or equivalent (desirable) Current UK driving licence and flexible to travel 3 years plus experience in a similar role (desirable) IT literate with experience of QHSE systems We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
