HMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B men's prison that houses around 600 patients. The prison is based in the village of Full Sutton, near Pocklington, Yorkshire, within this role you will be working closely with the multi disciplinary tea m to ensure we deliver a high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. This includes a growing pharmacy team with 2 permanent pharmacist, Senior Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Dispensers. Hours Shifts will fall between Monday to Friday 8am-4pm Salary This is a bank role with an hourly salary of £37.94 Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks. What you'll be doing As a Pharmacist, your responsibilities will vary. You will responsible for the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service. working closely with the Head of Healthcare and the multidisciplinary team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations. providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to prisoners. Requirements GPhC registered Pharmacist. Available to newly qualified pharmacists and beyond. Management and leadership experience (desirable). Procurement and audit experience (desirable).
