Mission & Main Objectives: This is an exciting opportunity to join the AESC SCM team as we approach future expansion within the battery manufacturing industry. Reporting to the SCM Production Control Manager, the successful candidate will interpret and manage into production, design changes to current products and facilitate design changes to future products. Outline and Responsibilities: Development of Design Change Control operations and processes to effectively manage design changes. This includes documenting change requests, evaluating their impact, and obtaining necessary approvals. Review and analyse design change requests to assess their feasibility, impact on product performance, cost, and schedule. Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders to evaluate the technical and operational aspects of proposed changes. Meet and achieve all key Master Schedule milestones. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of design changes. Facilitate meetings and discussions to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the change implementation process. Identify potential risks associated with design changes and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and track risks throughout the change process, taking proactive measures to minimise their impact on product quality and delivery. Experience and Qualifications Required: Minimum 3 years’ experience in Change Management. Previous project management and cross functional team working experience are desirable. Previous experience of SAP and PLM systems desirable. Ability to work and interact with all levels in a multicultural organization. Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels including the ability and confidence to present to the senior management team. Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient with prioritising and meeting deadlines.
