JFA are supporting a long standing client in recruiting a Senior EICA Commissioning Engineer, based on-site in the North and East Region of Scotland. This role is a great opportunity to be part of a critical infrastructure project at Herricks Water Treatment Works, which supplies treated water to Keith and the surrounding area in Morayshire.
Reporting directly to the Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing all commissioning activities, ensuring work is conducted safely and in compliance with company procedures, specifications, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage commissioning activities, ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures.
Review and monitor MEICA-related project risks.
Attend commissioning systems inductions and toolbox talks.
Collaborate with the Design Team to ensure commissioning requirements are integrated at the design stage and included in the project scope.
Review key design deliverables, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy, and telemetry requirements.
Develop and oversee Compliance & Commissioning Plans aligned with design intent. About You
Proven experience in electrical commissioning within the water or wastewater industry.
Extensive on-site experience in water treatment or water recycling operations.
Strong practical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
Excellent understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
A valid, clean UK driving license. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EICA Commissioning Engineer to contribute to a major infrastructure upgrade, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable water treatment for communities in Morayshire and beyond.
