About the role
You\'ll work collaboratively in a job share, jointly responsible for developing our new space growth strategy, leading a team of Location Planners to recommend the right investment decisions for new sites, using local catchment knowledge, property financial data and spatial understanding of our portfolio.
You will be responsible for
* Responsible for driving forward the vision & strategy for the Location Planning Team, ensuring all processes and work we do is led by the Global Service Model, leading to simplification and efficiencies.
* Leading Location Planning managers to drive a high quality new store Express & Large Store programme (and other special projects) through a thorough UK wide strategy and accurate sales forecasting.
* Owning the competitor impacts process ensuring robust reporting & measurement which is fed to the Customer team.
* Building data packages of location data to input into business wide projects where an element of spatial or demographic understanding is needed.
* Owning the data budget for Location Planning, ensuring we utilise and review the most appropriate external data suppliers. I forecast and manage my budgets effectively, always being cost conscious.
* Collaborating across the customer and retail teams to ensure any future store strategy takes into account local & spatial understanding of our stores.
* Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.
* Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best.

You will need
* Significant experience leading a high performing Location Planning or Customer Insight function.
* Proven ability to communicate to senior partners, presenting actionable insight and complex information in a simple way.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary
