Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Luton. Key Responsibilities
* Teaching: Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for experienced candidates.
* Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver thought-provoking lessons that engage students with key concepts in RE, including ethics, philosophy, and world religions.
* Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
* Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the RE department to enhance the curriculum, ensuring it reflects current issues and promotes a broader understanding of religion and philosophy.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience seen as advantageous. Passion for the subject, a commitment to student achievement, and strong classroom management skills are essential.
