The Role
As Customer Relations Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the care home’s services, driving occupancy rates, and establishing a trusted reputation within the community. Combining marketing, customer service, and relationship management skills, you’ll connect families with the right care solutions, helping them make informed decisions.
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Developing and implementing marketing strategies that effectively showcase the care home’s offerings and increase community engagement.
2. Proactively driving occupancy rates by connecting with potential residents and their families.
3. Building and managing positive relationships with referral networks, families, and community partners to enhance the organisation’s presence.
4. Organising tours, events, and promotional activities to reinforce the facility’s commitment to exceptional care.
5. Overseeing marketing communications and materials to maintain a positive facility image.
6. Collaborating with management to align marketing and customer engagement initiatives with organisational goals.
Travel:
This role may require occasional local travel for events, meetings, and community outreach. Therefore the successful candidate must be willing and flexible to travel regionally as and when required.
Job Criteria - Essential:
1. Proven experience in customer relations or sales, ideally within healthcare or residential care settings.
2. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a compassionate, client-focused approach.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
4. Knowledge of lead generation, customer engagement, and occupancy strategies in a care setting.
5. A commitment to helping families find the best care solutions for their loved ones.
Job Criteria - Desirable:
1. Background in elderly care or healthcare marketing.
2. Familiarity with local care industry networks and referral sources.
3. Experience with event planning or promotional activities.
4. Digital marketing skills.
