Role: Mechanical Project Engineer - £350 a day Role/Responsibilities: Read, understand and scrutinise Specifications Assist with management of design stage Procurement of sub-contractors, kit and plant Investigate Value Engineering Assist with preparation of Contract Documents I.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI’s, etc. Coordination and management of direct labour Instruct and coordinate site managers Progress reporting Overseeing commissioning and testing Working with Quantity Surveyor on Commercial Accounts Preparation of OMs for final project handover The ideal candidate: Ideally have a HNC or HND and good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
