A rare opportunity has arisen to become part of the Community North locality leadership team. This role requires the individual to have excellent communication skills, experience in leadership, developing and implementing service improvements, and advanced nursing skills.
The role will comprise both non-clinical and clinical skills. You will be expected to provide high-quality supervision for staff members across Calne and Corsham community, as well as be a pillar of excellence for the nursing team to efficiently support a complex community patient caseload.
The successful candidate will work alongside the community Therapy Clinical Lead and the Community Team Manager to facilitate clinical and operational leadership to the community team. You will be expected to travel across all sites in the North locality: Chippenham, Calne, Malmesbury, and Marlborough when required, but routinely between Calne and Corsham sites. It is critical that the post holder develops strong relationships with other locality leads to enable a consistent, high-quality service throughout Wiltshire and to share learning and examples of good practice.

Managing complex patients and situations and providing clinical guidance to the nursing team.

The Ideal Candidate
Applicants will need experience in complex patient care, community working, and evidence of professional development including a Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and other relevant skills such as physical assessment and clinical reasoning.
We are looking for a nurse who has excellent communication skills and is resilient and motivated to work flexibly in our busy, friendly team.
As this role requires travel, a driving license and access to a car is required.
You will also need to be confident with a variety of IT systems including Microsoft Office packages.
