An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of Human Resource and People professionals as a HR Officer. This role will support us in the delivery of high quality human resources and administration to colleagues across teamHDFT.
The Human Resource Operations Team are looking to recruit a highly motivated and organised HR Administration Officer.
The post-holder will play a key proactive role supporting the HR Ops leadership team in co-ordinating and administering a wide range of HR activities including employee relations, absence management, general inquiries, and to be involved in our exciting People and Culture programme whilst working amongst a highly motivated and supportive team.

Main duties of the job
To provide a responsive and efficient Human Resources operational service to managers and staff throughout the organisation, ensuring that the operational function delivers a customer focused, and quality support the HR Business Partners, Senior Advisors and Advisors on a range of HR issues and administrative tasks. Providing basic HR advice, working within relevant legislation and policies and ensuring that relevant HR records are up to date and accurate, maintaining confidentiality and working within Data Protection legislation.

1. Provide support and advice to staff and managers on a range of Human Resources issues including terms and conditions of service, policies, employee relations matters relating to disciplinary investigations, minor breaches, and grievances, sickness absence and special leave entitlements where tact and sensitivity is required to provide effective Be the first point of contact for all HR enquiries, both face to face and via phone, this may involve providing support to staff that are feeling under pressure and in emotional Use own initiative and judgement to provide accurate advice taking in toconsideration which HR policies/ procedures and best practice to follow and taking stock of all aspects of the information Provide advice and support on recruitment decisions to managers and participate on interview Provide a range of administrative support to the Operational HR Team, including taking and typing up of minutes of meetings where necessary, general filing, preparing letters, photocopying and creating/maintaining Undertake research including benchmarking exercises and analysis as requiredto support own work and as directed by senior HR Manage workload and time effectively receiving tasks from different channelsincluding via the Senior HR team and right through to the operational Ensure compliance with equal opportunities principles in all areas of peoplemanagement throughout the Support the senior HR team on investigations into bullying and harassment,disciplinary issues and grievances by taking minutes and maintaining the delivery of training sessions on HR practice, policy and procedural issues.
