If you have a knack for driving business development initiatives and a keen interest in environmental, social, and governance issues, we want to hear from you About the Role: As a Business Development Manager – ESG and Sustainability, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day business development for our client's global ESG practice. You will work closely with partners, colleagues in the wider CRM, BD, and marcomms team, as well as Knowledge Lawyers. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing the ESG strategy, go-to-market proposition, and client targeting efforts. Key Responsibilities: Lead on preparing client pitches, panel proposals, and credentials statements for the ESG and Sustainability team. Own and update all ESG and sustainability-related marketing collateral. Drive and coordinate BD activity for the global team from London, working closely with the Global Co-Heads of the Environment and Climate Law Group. Work with team members in the Belfast office on client pitches, events, and maintenance of marketing collateral. Create directory and award submissions to increase the market presence of the practice. Ensure the timeliness, consistency, and quality of BD tools. Manage client events and conference sponsorship. Track market, client, and competitor trends to inform the ESG strategy and identify opportunities for revenue growth. Develop multi-channel campaigns and coordinated client targeting initiatives. Identify appropriate industry events to showcase expertise and coordinate involvement. Facilitate internal knowledge sharing among key stakeholders and client relationship teams. Ideal Candidate: Graduate (or equivalent) with relevant business development and marketing experience at a BD Manager level within a professional services organisation. Some knowledge of ESG/sustainability or decarbonisation and energy transition preferred, or a willingness to develop an understanding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. A proactive approach, balancing creativity, tenacity, and energy. High attention to detail and strong client focus. A commercial and ambitious individual with a global mindset and a proven track record in a similar professional services environment. Experience in driving campaigns and client targeting initiatives. Ability to work to deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and deliver under pressure. Ability to plan ahead, anticipate workload, and manage expectations. Why Join them?
