An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a growing organization based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and execute financial strategies to align with the company’s goals, including budgeting and forecasting.
2. Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements and management accounts, maintaining compliance with UK regulations.
3. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
4. Oversee cash flow management, identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiency.
5. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing insights to support informed business decisions.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven finance experience in a senior role.
2. Strong understanding of UK financial regulations and proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
3. Experience with financial software, particularly Xero, and excellent analytical skills.
