You will be critical to ensuring the Digital Transformation programme lands successfully for business teams and our customers. It will co-ordinate all our business transition activities across Digital, Marketing, Healthcare, Stores and Supply Chain, and will work with IT to create a master plan for our business. You will work with specialists in Business Change and Business Architecture and IT colleagues and our HR partners to ensure all activities are identified and organised into the overall business delivery plan. You’ll then ensure this plan is delivered, identifying and addressing risks as needed, working with the Condor & Digital leadership teams. If you love getting into all the details, getting things organised and making change happen, this is the role for you.
You will report to the Director of Digital Transformation and will support Project Condor with some additional involvement in other Digital activities including providing cover for another Digital Senior Programme Manager (Note: this will be a mutual arrangement to cover holidays, etc). You will have one direct report and work closely with a large number of people across the programme and organisation.
What you’ll need to have
1. Organised and experienced in project and/or programme management.
2. Detail oriented and able to handle & bring order to large amounts of information.
3. Experience of creating large complex plans involving multiple teams/functions and a wide variety of different activities including technology implementation.
4. Used to identifying, logging and managing risks, actions and decisions (RAID logs) and managing resourcing.
5. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, and challenging partners.
6. Confident, flexible and unflappable and will challenge when deadlines are not met or standards not achieved.
7. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and good attention to detail.
8. Works well with others and experienced in working cross-functionally with a diverse range of people – including effectively holding others to account when needed.
9. Able to follow guidelines & processes but know when these can/are flexed.
