We are seeking to appoint a full time Patient Pathway Team Leader to join our friendly team within Ophthalmology. The post will be mainly based at the John Radcliffe hospital but the successful candidate will need to be flexible with travel as this post will be expected to work across a number of OUH sites including The Horton Hospital and OUH at Cowley.
This post is crucial to the on-going development of the service and would suit a candidate who has excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will have proven secretarial skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload to tight deadlines. You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work in a pressurised and busy environment. service.
Knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and knowledge of elective access standards would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to take responsibility in providing comprehensive administration support to a named Clinician/s & the Service Manager. Working in conjunction with the Service Manager and Patient Pathway Manager the Patient Pathway Team Leader will support the delivery of the week referral to treatment (RTT) pathway & Cancer Access standards within the speciality.
