OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider, in a Full-Time Permanent role. This exciting hybrid role requires 1-2 days per week at the Client site in Inchinnan.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a multidisciplinary team to provide a full remit Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:
1. Management referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
2. Supporting with Health Surveillance, Fitness to Work Medicals & interpreting results.
3. New Entrants Medicals.
4. Providing other OH services where required such as Vaccinations, Travel Health Services, Ergonomic Advice, or Health Promotion.
5. Providing clinical supervision and support to junior team members such as OH Technicians.
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
1. An NMC Registered Nurse.
2. Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health.
3. Minimum 2 years experience in Occupational Health.
4. Prior experience in Occupational Health with proficiency in the provision of:
5. Spirometry.
6. Audiometry.
7. General Medicals.
8. Drug and Alcohol screening.
9. Case Management.
10. Fitness for role assessments.
11. Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.
12. An excellent communicator with skills in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.
13. Possess excellent IT Literacy and record-keeping skills.
14. A holder of a full clean driving licence with your own vehicle able to travel to the customer site as required.
