As a Lecturer, you should hold a qualification at SCQF Level 7, such as an HNC in Carpentry and Joinery, and demonstrate substantial evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) in a relevant field. Practical experience in your trade or industry is essential, alongside supervisory experience within a contracting or service environment. While teaching experience is desirable, it is not mandatory. We welcome candidates who possess strong communication skills and a positive, supportive attitude. Whilst this post’s main base is Paisley Campus, this is a cross-campus role, and the successful candidate will therefore be expected to work at any of the College’s campuses as required.
