Role overview
As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of a relentlessly collaborative team, using data-driven insights to shape pricing strategies and deliver brilliant outcomes. In our fast-moving and dynamic environment, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple personal lines products, participating in pricing reviews and ensuring consumers are treated fairly in all aspects of your work.

Key Accountabilities
* Deliver Insightful Analysis – Use your analytical expertise to produce high-quality, accurate outputs that drive pricing decisions, ensuring compliance with reporting and business requirements.
* Own Pricing Accuracy – Prepare and maintain product rate books with meticulous version control, ensuring all change requests are managed efficiently.
* Champion Quality & Compliance – Conduct price audits for schemes, clearly communicating findings to meet business expectations and regulatory standards.
* Drive Competitive Pricing – Assess rate strength and pricing competitiveness for new propositions, helping the business achieve target loss ratios.
* Ensure Precision in Testing – Prepare and validate test packs for both new and existing products, ensuring pricing accuracy and seamless product acceptance.
* Collaborate Relentlessly – Build strong relationships across teams (Underwriting, Data, and beyond) to align on pricing objectives and deliver exceptional outcomes.
* Maintain Process Excellence – Execute routine tasks with precision, keeping documented procedures up to date and ensuring smooth operational workflows.
* Identify Risks & Drive Solutions – Proactively escalate risks or issues and contribute to innovative, practical solutions where needed.
* Master the Bspoke Business Model – Develop a deep understanding of our environment, products, and services, using this knowledge to refine and optimize pricing strategies.
* Harness Data for Impact – Create and maintain pricing datasets that support rate reviews and pricing projects, turning data into actionable insights.
* Communicate with Influence – Produce clear, insightful reports and effectively share key findings with stakeholders to guide strategic pricing decisions.
* Support Successful Project Delivery – Provide meaningful contributions to projects, ensuring they meet business objectives while embracing agility and innovation.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* Minimum Grade B in A Level Maths or Computer Science (or equivalent).
* Experience in at least one of R / Python / SAS / SQL language.
* Minimum of 3 years financial pricing and commercial analysis experience.
Desirable
* Numerical based degree, such as (but not limited to) Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Economics.
* Experience in using specialist pricing software (i.e. Emblem and Radar).
* Experience using PowerBI.
* Exposure to working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid working environment.

Salary – £45k to £50k
Benefits – 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays, life assurance of four times your salary, private medical care and 10% pension contributions, plus lots more.
Location – The role base is hybrid. There is a need for face-to-face collaboration 1 - 2 days a week at the office in Garforth, Leeds.
