Resilient Teaching Assistant Needed, Eastbourne
We are currently working with a school who are seeking a resilient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work at a specialized institution for excluded students. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in youth work or as prison officers, though prior school experience is not required. The school presents unique challenges, so resilience and a strong, supportive attitude are essential.

Hours:
8.15am-3.15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
The successful applicant will:
* Deal with situations calmly and sensitively
* Be creative and think outside of the box in their approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
* Develop strong and trusting relationships with students
* Be a team player, working closely with other staff members and external agencies
* Care deeply about pupils' academic, emotional, and personal development, showing empathy for their individual circumstances
* Inspire trust and motivate students with a supportive and encouraging attitude
* Use their initiative to meet the individual needs of students, considering their communication and learning skills
* Have a proven track record of working with young people or vulnerable adults, either on a paid or voluntary basis
* Possess basic IT skills/understanding
