Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of William Henry Smith School.

We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated college cleaner.

* The successful candidate will possess the necessary qualities to play an integral role in the smooth running of the Smith Foundation’s Cleaning function.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
* Must be able to work independently and confidently as a lone worker
* Have experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties
* Have knowledge of cleaning best practices and the ability to follow instructions
* Be approachable and able to communicate effectively whilst building relationships with your team, colleagues and students
* Have good organisational skills
* Be confident and highly motivated
* Be able to work on own initiative
* Be honest and act with integrity, be trustworthy and understand the need for confidentiality
* Have a positive attitude and mind-set, embracing the positive physical and mental health and wellbeing ethos. Promote and celebrate diversity, collaboration, and equality in the school at all times
