Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work in a primary school in Sunderland, providing targeted interventions and movement breaks to help pupils regulate their emotions and understand their triggers. Role Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs. Assist pupils across the school when they require regulation or movement breaks to refocus and engage in learning. Plan and deliver movement-based activities that help children develop self-awareness and emotional resilience. Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement tailored support strategies. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil development. Requirements: Experience working with children in a school or support setting. A passion for supporting pupils with additional emotional and behavioural needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide engaging and structured movement activities.
