AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
The AWS ElastiCache team in Tel-Aviv is looking for an experienced SysDev Engineer to help us build the future of in-memory databases. The SysDev engineer is in charge of availability, stability and security of ElastiCache production services and their critical infrastructure. You will work closely with a tight, agile team that ships features continuously, and you will be able to see the impact of your work on real customers!
A day in the life
As a DevOps engineer in our team, you will own the deployment of new services, setting up new regions, and help with any production-related tasks. You will learn about the AWS backend and the technology that runs it.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years overall software development/DevOps/production engineering experience.
* Experience in UNIX/Linux operating system.
* Masterful in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, TypeScript, etc.).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with distributed systems at scale.
