9 Month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract
In this role, you will provide financial assistance to the Finance Business Partner, participating in all aspects of financial management and accountancy. This role will specifically support a Stakeholder portfolio, duties will include preparing financial calculations and costings for internal and external use, identifying and extracting data from various systems, validating / reconciling data, supporting the development and monitoring of Departmental budgets, analysing forecast expenditure levels, ensuring recovery of income, meeting attendance including specific Stakeholder tasks, ensuring adherence to financial regulations by business stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have a good standard of education, AAT Qualified (or significant progress towards it), computer literate especially in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Databases, together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the aptitude to deal with all levels of people both internally and externally. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with confidence to challenge and support operational delivery through problem-solving.
