At Smart Teachers we are recruiting on behalf of schools in Havering for experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs).
About the role
As a HLTA, you will support the class teacher in delivering lessons, leading small groups, and managing classroom activities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed, while also taking on additional responsibilities such as planning and supervising lessons in the teacher's absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead lessons and support teaching across a variety of subjects.
Provide targeted support to students, including those with additional needs.
Assist with planning and preparing learning activities.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
Cover classes in the absence of the class teacher.
Support assessment and feedback on students' progress.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:
Level 3 Qualification
Experience working with children, including those with additional learning needs.
A current DBS check, or willingness to undergo one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
