The position Due to continued growth, we’re further expanding our Market Access team. As our new National Market Access Manager, you will have the opportunity to devise, develop, and implement comprehensive UK strategy within the Diabetes therapy area (TA). You will report directly to Director of National Market Access. Additionally, you will: Support pre-launch market entry, lifecycle management, and loss of exclusivity (LoE) planning for legacy brands while ensuring timely and successful market access for Novo Nordisk’s portfolio. Develop market access campaigns, tools, and services in collaboration with marketing and field-based teams, aligning them with customer needs to enhance engagement with key strategic accounts. Represent Market Access in European and Global Teams, contributing to pre-launch product workstreams, shaping national-level strategies, and identifying collaboration opportunities with the NHS. Lead continuous evaluation of corporate strategies, synthesizing market insights to refine commercial LoE strategies and improve business outcomes at a national level. Collaborate with internal teams (Clinical, Medical & Regulatory, Health Economics/Outcomes Research, Pricing, Legal & Compliance) to ensure compliance, effective resource development, and implementation of innovative contracting solutions to drive uptake and expansion of key brands. Qualifications To excel in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably within Health/Social Science or Business). Great understanding of ABPI, UK regulatory requirements and compliance with industry standards and guidelines. Proven successful track record of broad-based market access / policy / pharmaceutical experience from in-house and/or agency environment. Strong understanding of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modelling activities. Experience in designing content and strategy for Diabetes TA- advantage. Fluency in English.
