As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our sales team and are seeking a hungry, humble and smart internal Client Relations person. Job Overview: The position of Client Relations will be a pivotal role in ensuring continued growth for the company. From handling inbound enquiries to initial discovery call, to producing proposals and quotations to follow through to purchase order this role involves a deep understanding of client’s needs and of product benefits. Along with this, the role includes outreach to and growth of existing enterprise clients to maximise sales and opportunities. The client relations role will work closely with and report to the head of Sales and Marketing. For larger more complex projects the role will work in a supporting capacity with the Head of Sales and marketing to close out deals and new client accounts. Key Responsibilities: First point of contact for inbound enquiries. Produce proposals and quotes with supporting client and factory specification. Maintenance of the CRM data and contacts including past and future activities and tasks. Ownership of pipeline and clients. Qualify and validate new enquiries against pipeline criteria. Hitting & Exceeding KPIs. Key Client and Account Relationship management over phone, email and face-to-face. Maintenance and growth of enterprise accounts. Creation of Win Strategy for BD Handed Deals. (WIN MAP) Creation of new deals and follow up of opportunities. Holding Detailed Discovery Calls via Teams or telephone. Booking meetings with key projects and clients with the Sales and Marketing Manager. Liaison with approved supply chain partners to estimate costs when creating quotations. Creation of detailed and accurate Handover documentation for Operations when deals are won. Administrative and Interpersonal Tasks: Client Liaison : Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about project progress, service appointments, and any delays or issues. Documentation : Maintain meticulous records of all projects, conversations/client contact, all within the CRM Weekly Reporting : Report back each week with current status of each open project. Handover Documentation: Creation of handover documentation for Operations to pick up and to allow projects to be delivered and installed effectively. Qualifications and Skills: Essential Skills: Organizational Skills : Proven ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Interpersonal Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in speaking to clients, suppliers, and collages on the phone, via teams or face to face. Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of the role, from scheduling to record-keeping. Time Management : Ability to manage a dynamic workload, balancing routine and urgent tasks effectively. Desirable: Previous experience in sales roles in industries such as HVAC, or working with fume cupboard/biosafety cabinet manufacturers.
