About the Role As an Area Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting nursery management teams to deliver outstanding care and education while fostering an exceptional workplace for their team. Your expertise in early years and in-depth knowledge of Hertfordshire and local authority procedures will be key. Nursery Operations: Regularly visiting nursery settings to ensure compliance with statutory and local authority requirements. Supporting nursery managers in operations, safeguarding, and team matters. Monitoring KPIs, including occupancy and management accounts, to achieve targets. Driving continuous improvement through reflective practice and policy adherence. Team Development: Coaching and mentoring nursery managers to enhance skills and resolve challenges. Leading on performance management, training, and recruitment of management team members. Fostering a positive, connected team culture aligned with our values. Operational Leadership: Leading management team meetings and collaborating with operational leads. Contributing to the Nursery Operations strategy and driving business success. About You You are a passionate early years professional ready to make an impact: Level 3 Early Years qualification or above, with proven experience of leading a nursery to outstanding Ofsted results. Strong relationship-building, excellent communication, and confidentiality. A "can-do" mindset with self-motivation and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel across settings and offices as needed.
