The service you will work in Lewisham Mental Health Service
Lewisham Mental Health Service is based across two sites with the borough of Lewisham providing supported accommodation for single adults with complex mental health needs who will be at various stages in terms of their recovery.
A day in this role looks like….
As a Team Manager
at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health Service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
To be responsible for the day to day running and strategic development of Hestia's Lewisham Mental Health Accommodation Service.
To be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of partnerships and engagement strategies for both services.
To develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for both services and to be the main point of contact for ongoing joint working relationships
To manage all elements of service performance related to the contract requirements including analysis of KPIs, outcomes and user experience measures
To lead Team Meetings and engage staff in reflective supervision.
To lead on the timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with contract requirements
To work with the Service Manager on the development and implementation of the annual Business Plan and Equality plan
To maintain the continuing relevance of service provision to service user needs by ongoing planning, monitoring and evaluating and effective service delivery
To achieve the agreed standards of service delivery in compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and Hestia policies and procedures
To work with the Service Manager to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees, service users, professionals and other visitors by ensuring service delivery is in line with organisational procedures and H&S Legislation

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of passion, expertise, and dedication to the table. To excel in this role, you should possess:
Experience of performance monitoring and delivering consistently high service user standards
Demonstrable experience of managing services for and people with mental health and complex needs
Ability and experience of managing complex budgets
Understanding of Mental Health Crisis Management and the delivery of services to meet their needs and aspirations including working with peer support workers
Excellent knowledge of Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reform)
Understanding of working in partnership with statutory mental health services
Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and monitoring service user support and assessment plans
Ability to positively promote the organisation at external events, including delivering presentations and creating marketing material
Good knowledge of MS Office systems
Able to use computer systems including case management systems to create accurate reports and able to assess and audit staff
Ability to use computer systems to record client data accurately and to a high standard
Ability to write & interpret complex reports
Excellent level of spoken and written English
