Continental shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights then 4 days off – average of 42 hours per week.

Position Summary
We have opportunities for experienced Line Operators working on a continental shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights then 4 days off.

A day in the life of a Line Operator
Reporting to the Line Performance Manager, your main accountability will be to achieve performance targets by following SOP processes and adherence to standards while operating machines and systems. You will be responsible for running an extrusion line ensuring the highest level of Safety, Quality and Hygiene, producing high quality product.
Other key responsibilities will include:
1. Ability to work as part of a team to deliver high quality products.
2. Ensure high safety and quality standards are adhered to.
3. Approach work with a continuous improvement mindset.
4. Support with factory activities in order to achieve KPIs.
5. Adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and plant.
What will make you successful
The successful candidates will have ideally worked in a Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) environment before and be thorough, professional and care about the safety of themselves and others.
You will need to demonstrate you care about delivering high quality products at all times and have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles. You will be able to demonstrate ownership, high levels of results focus and strong communication skills.
We are looking for people who enjoy solving problems and exploring how things work, whilst continually thinking of new ideas to improve safety, quality and performance to meet consumer needs.
