Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling kitchen and bedroom cabinets. We also require a kitchen and bedroom designer who is able to read and understand architectural drawings, scale drawings, and is also competent with kitchen design software (CAD).
Duties:
1. Cabinet Installers: Must be able to read and understand kitchen and bedroom/furniture drawings. Applicant must be able to work with portable tools and be familiar with basic woodworking machinery; driving is optional.
2. Joiners: Applicant must be able to work from drawings and designs to create bespoke joinery such as beds, sofas, bar counters, panels, doors, and frame doors from hardwood. A bit of polishing and spraying will be an advantage.
3. Cabinet Makers: Applicant must know how to work with wood cutting machines and have basic knowledge of a CNC boring machine. Must also be able to generate a cutting list.
4. Carpenters: Will be responsible for installing bedroom and kitchen cupboards and shelving, fitting door frames, fitting floors, installing staircases in buildings, and repairing wooden fixtures.
5. Kitchen Designers: Applicant must be a specialist who uses their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for kitchens. Must have good customer relation skills. Must be able to create, present, and exchange thoughts on innovative design schemes and also inspire, excite, and support customers from design concept to installation or delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Utilize joinery techniques to build and install kitchens and wardrobes.
2. Perform electrical work and plumbing as needed.
3. Fabricate and assemble wooden components using hand and power tools.
4. Conduct heavy lifting when necessary.
5. Ensure all work meets high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in joinery, carpentry, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble wooden structures accurately.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical work is a plus.
- Capable of heavy lifting as required.
- CAD Kitchen designer.
