HR Manager (Part-Time) - Craigavon area
MCS Group is thrilled to be exclusively representing an innovative private sector organisation based in the Craigavon area, currently seeking an experienced HR Manager on a permanent, part-time basis.

This award-winning and innovative company has grown at a steady rate over the past number of years, currently employing just over 200 staff on their Craigavon site. The company's senior leadership team is extremely committed to HR and its impact on the rest of the business, including developing its already outstanding company culture and understanding its commercial importance. The successful candidate will therefore have complete buy-in from the senior management team.
The role
Reporting to the MD, the successful HR Manager will be responsible for the effective delivery of all HR aspects for the business, working in partnership with the management team to support them on any people issues, ensuring excellent service in a consistent manner.
The successful HR Manager will work in a standalone capacity locally, partnering with various internal stakeholders throughout the business to understand current and future talent requirements, taking on full responsibility for developing an outstanding organisational culture. It is important that the successful candidate is capable of doing everything from administration to dealing with senior stakeholders globally, given the standalone nature of the role.
The business is firmly focused on continuous improvement; therefore, the HR Manager will be involved in a number of value-adding projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing policies and procedures to drive performance, updating the employee handbook, and drafting contracts of employment. The successful candidate will also be involved in the rollout of a new HR system, ensuring it is embedded across the business and that employees of all levels can use the system effectively.
To apply for the role
Suitable candidates will possess a relevant degree and be CIPD qualified, with extensive HR Business Partner / HR Manager level experience, where they have worked with and successfully influenced senior stakeholders:
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally possessing a CIPD qualification
* 4+ years' experience at HR Business Partner / HR Manager or equivalent level
* Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
* Ability to work in an autonomous fashion
* Sound understanding of recent employment legislation
