Contract type: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, 40 hours a week, Hybrid 60/40
Rate: £25,000 Per annum

The key responsibilities of a Finance Administrator
As a Finance Administrator with Exemplar Health Care, you'll assist in production of company management accounts, posting journals, accruals and payments.

The role is varied, but as a general guide your responsibilities will involve the following:
As a Finance Administrator, You'll:
* Complete bank reconciliations for multiple entities - ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all transactions
* Update and manage cash flow
* Create and process payments/refunds and banking of cheques when required
* Assist in processing and reimbursing expense claims in accordance with company policy
* Assist in processing company credit card returns
* Process the group cashless card banking/transactions weekly
* Be a key contact - Monitor/respond to emails in shared mailboxes and telephone queries. Providing effective communications with internal teams and stakeholders
* Provide support to the month end processes, ensuring deadlines are met
* Assist with external audit requirements
* Post journals including accruals and prepayments
* Assist in payroll and apprenticeship levy posting
* Assist in processing the weekly agency invoice
* Carry out any other ad-hoc finance administrative tasks as required by the Finance team
Other Duties
* Undertake appropriate training and development to ensure statutory compliance and maintain appropriate professional registration, including child and adult protection procedures training
* Participate in appraisal and supervision processes within the statutory guidelines

Qualifications And Training
You don't need to have any qualifications to apply for this role, but it may be useful to have experience in a similar role. A Degree level or finance qualification (AAT) will be helpful but not essential as full training will be given.
When you start, you'll do a company welcome induction which covers mandatory and statutory training including safeguarding, moving and handling, and infection prevention and control.
After that, you'll do a role specific induction in your team with the support of a buddy or mentor. This induction will cover all of your responsibilities in detail.
Throughout your employment, you'll have regular supervisions and Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) with your Manager. During your PDR, you'll review your progress, celebrate your achievements, address any issues and identify your career aspirations.
