Your Role During a Child’s Time with Us...
As the Deputy Manager, you will be a key part of an experienced and professional team working to provide high-quality residential care, education, and therapy. Supported by a Registered Manager and Head of Care, you will:
* Coach, mentor, and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers
* Ensure children’s placement plans are effectively communicated and implemented
* Provide leadership and guidance in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Do You Have These Qualities?
* Previous experience in a Deputy, Assistant Manager, or Senior RSW role in residential childcare
* Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
* Strong understanding of safeguarding children and relevant legislation
* Confident in supervising teams and providing proactive leadership
* Passion, resilience, and commitment to supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural challenges
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* IT proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
* Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles
