Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to support our branch in delivering excellent service and driving sales growth. This role involves maintaining in-depth knowledge of general insurance products, assisting with various branch functions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide advice on general insurance products and support customers with their insurance needs. Assist in maintaining high levels of customer service and operational efficiency within the branch. Research, plan, and implement sales and marketing initiatives to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline. Identify cross-selling opportunities across insurance and financial services to enhance customer value. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and policy information. Ensure all sales are conducted professionally and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Generate and develop new business opportunities, including commercial insurance sales. Act as a key contact for customers, building long-term relationships and reinforcing the company’s reputation. Skills & Experience: A minimum of 2 years continuous employment on their CV Insurance selling experience but anyone with a solid background in financial services or selling into the SME market would be considered. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to customers. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of general insurance products and industry regulations (preferred). Maths and English GCSE at C grade (5 on the current scale) Clean driving licence with own car Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm 35 hours a week
