We have a vacancy for enthusiastic Band 6, Specialised Podiatrist to join our brilliant podiatry team in the High Peak and Dales locality in Derbyshire.
As well as direct patient care and treatment planning for patients with complex needs you will work with a wide variety of patient types which may include working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams in acute trusts.
The post will require flexibility and ability to work across sites and teams according to service needs and therefore transport will be essential.

• To be part of a highly motivated team, providing a high standard of clinical care.
• To assess, diagnose, develop and implement individualised care packages in order to maximize ulcer prevention for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs, including acute or chronic neuropathies, chronic disease, vascular problems and wound management.
• The post holder will also be expected to plan and manage their own caseload, which will include providing specialist care to patients with diabetes, rheumatological and biomechanics.
• As part of the Podiatry Team and Wider Trust, contribute to the development and adhere to the Podiatry Department and Trust policies, strategies and objectives.
