FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a well established Engineering business based in Walsall. The business have been running for 35 years now and constantly winning new business Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within an SME environment, have used Sage previously & have experience of working with an external accountancy firm. This role will cover an array of transactional finance duties & report into the MD. Duties Will Include Purchase and Sales Ledger Data entry into Sage 50 Supporting with VAT queries Raising, sharing & logging invoices with customers & suppliers Resolving any queries raised from customers or suppliers Processing Expenses, Rebates and Payments Assisting the MD & external accountants with their month / year-end duties Answering telephones / emails and dealing with queries Chasing payments over the phone and via email
