What you will be doing:
In your position, you must be a role model to your team and the business. You commit to maintaining high standards of behaviour and personal appearance and endeavour to contribute to our quality and service ethos. You will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring adherence to all Health and Safety policies adopted by OAR.
2. Maintaining excellent GMP standards at all times, delivering quality standards required of customers and external audits, for example BRC.
3. Managing and controlling set KPIs - Productivity, Labour, Training, Recruitment/Retention, Downtime, and Waste.
4. Proactive day-to-day problem solving to ensure the daily plan is met - this includes bottleneck management and team management to ensure throughputs are maintained at target levels.
5. Carrying out the HR function of the shift, in dealing with development and staff management, which will involve RTWs, investigations, and disciplinaries.
6. Ensuring the smooth running of the core business by liaising professionally with department leaders to co-ordinate stock, production, picking, and dispatch.
7. Motivating, managing, training, and developing team workers, as well as interviewing, recruiting, and retaining new starters.
