Organic are looking for a Business Development Director to join our team!
New business is the life blood of every agency. This role is key to Organic - a leader of the new business pipeline and our sales process. As a Business Development Director, you will help to drive commercial success.
You’ll bring fresh thinking and a proven track record in selling digital agency services. You’ll deploy a variety of sales tactics and methods, as well as collaborating with the Marketing Manager and the wider commercial team to ensure success.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
* Building and converting sales, including...
* Generating and leading prospect meetings and advocating for Organic and our services.
* Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating and following-up to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
* Converting inbound enquiries into sales through a clear understanding of client problems and how Organic products and services can satisfy those needs.
* Networking and building relationships with prospects and the ‘e-commerce’ and ‘search (SEO)’ communities.
* Managing relationships with external new business partners and our Non-Exec.
* Monitoring and reporting performance, using learnings to enact change for better results over time.
* Identifying sales opportunities and innovative ways to position the agency and our services.
* Working with the CEO and the Marketing Manager to shape the day-to-day process of demand generation, offering support and guidance on the ‘top of funnel’ marketing of the agency.
* Refining and running our pre-qualification process to validate leads and increase Organic’s pitch conversion rate.
* Ability to run pitches, assembling and leading the right internal teams to pitch success across all our digital marketing service offerings.
* The ability to enthuse others in the Organic team who are incentivised on new business wins, harnessing the motivation and energy of others in the team.
* Reporting to the CEO on new business performance.
* Managing existing new business systems, with a good understanding of HubSpot and how to optimize its use.

* A proven track record in leading new business initiatives and demonstrating success, with experience in effectively managing others.
* Energy & enthusiasm, as the new business role is relentless and requires considerable drive and an entrepreneurial flair.
* Competitive spirit, with a passion to succeed and deliver the best possible results.
* A team player who enjoys collaborating with internal teams and building networks with prospects and partners.
* Knowledge of digital marketing and a genuine interest in it, enabling you to construct a sales strategy that aligns with potential client needs.
* Highly organised, with great attention to detail and a willingness to manage systems and processes effectively.
